| | In St. George visiting my parents, so I got up early to run before it was too hot. Even at 6 am it was hot and humid this morning. So I ran from their house down to the river and followed it around the loop and back. I've been a slacker lately, so this run felt like it was a million miles. |

| | Still in St. George this morning, so I did the same loop around the river, but went the opposite direction. My dad slowly rode his bike next to me, which was great being able to talk to him. Nice, HOT run, even at 6:30am. |

| | Ran over to a friends house that was having a garage sale. My hubby drove over with a bunch of stuff, but I really needed to get a small run in today before work. Took the long way there to make it 2 miles, stayed for an hour to help, then ran the short way back, 1.6. It was broken up but, I guess it still counts!! |

| | I lost the fight with the front door today, so I did a wimpy 2.8 on the TM today. Just couldn't stay motivated to run any longer. |

| | I told myself I would get up at 6:30 and run, instead, I slept in until 9:00!! Nice! And then I still couldn't get myself out the door. So, at 1:00, I finally took off, it was 83 degrees, which I didn't think was too hot, until about mile 2, and then I was dying hot. I walked from 2.5-3, got a drink of water, and then finished. That was my punishment!! |

| | Left at 10 am to run, a little late once again!! It was already hot, and really windy, and of course it was uphill into the wind, so by the time I got to the downhill part, I was already tired. Not very long today, but.... when will it get easier? |

| | TM today, ran 1.7 miles on some endurance program, and then I accidentally pulled the magnet off and ended that workout. So, I ran 2 more miles doing 1 minute sprints. |

Deseret News 10k (6.2 Miles) 01:04:57 | | Well I beat my time by 5+ minutes from last year, but I am disappointed with how slowly I still run. Given the fact that I am not a bit sore, I should have pushed myself alot harder. I tried to make up time by running down the big hills fast, but I think I started the race out at too slow of a pace. Oh well maybe next year. My husband and son ran "with" me, and did great. My 12 year old son ran a 59:59, without any running training, only soccer!! He did awesome!

| | After going on long walks the past two days, I finally went for a run. It was already hot outside, so I tried to stay on the shady side of the streets, and that was much better. Felt good most of the time, I tried to run faster than usual, but I didn't time myself, so I'm really not sure. |

| | Got up early to avoid the heat, only to run in 42% humidity. YUCK! I don't know how people even run in those humid areas!!! Was planning on doing 5.2, but was too hot and changed my route so I didn't have to run up a hill to come home. Felt better running down for sure!
